It is called raising the bar. You mentioned in an earlier post something about respect in the industry. Do you think that you will gain any respect, flying regionals or not, by lowering the bar for fellow pilots?

So what should I do? I want honest and realistic actions that I as an individual should do? Keep in mind that I do not want to be furloughed and need a regional/commuter job until recall. I also prefer a company that is growing and upgrading. So tell me---what should I do?

So you'll accept the subpar in order to keep that hiring and upgrading going?? Your perceptions are twisted because you say you want that just to NOT be furloughed???

If you are waiting for a callback from furlough at a major, how about getting a job in any other field? You would most likely make more money than a regional FO, and wouldnt outsource your own job.

We all lower the bar by accepting poverty pay to go to work at any regional.
