So you are a earthworm farmer?
Why so much contempt?
Is this how managment views us as pilots?

No contempt at all. Just find no reason why it matters if I'm a mother of 5, or a 22 year old hairdresser, or a pilot, or a ditchdigger, or an air traffic controller, or a CFI, etc . . . . . .

Why don't you ask them?

Final 2 questions. What's your aviation experience? And were you a Freedom A Lister?
The only reason I ask is you have close to 1500 posts on this site.

Thanks
No, I was not an a-lister. Why would anyone get that idea? Because I have 1500 posts? What does that have to do with anything? It actually comes from sitting a lot of ready...

Most of the regulars here have some idea about my background. You'll pardon me if I'm reluctant to divulge too much to someone with 4 posts, since I don't have any idea about you at all.

To summarize my views on mesa...

The company is horrible (I have been around the block, so I have some perspective as to how an organization is SUPPOSED to function).
A-listers are the next best thing to scabs (yes I carry the list)
I am not a huge fan of MAPD, but that doesn't make you a scab.
The old MEC was useless and corrupt.
I was optimistic about the new MEC initially, but they look pretty weak now.
There are a lot of good guys at mesa.
There are also many spineless types who will put up with any sort of abuse.
If the next contract is any improvement, it will take until 2011.
I had my doubts about the pilot group's ability to prevail, and I decided not to suffer 4 more years of mesa just to learn the outcome. I am much happier at my new airline. I will sit on the sidelines and cheer...I will buy beer for mesa strikers when the time comes

Congratulations rickair7777 for taking some self-responsibility. You made a choice that seems to be working out for you. I applaud your decision and actions. Why wait when you can change now!

Good for you!

The question really is what differentiates your posts from the ravings of a Crack head?

Do you have some experience in some area that relates to Airline Pilots, Management, Labor Realtions, Yield Management, Customer Service, or some other facet of the Airline business which might give your posts some weight of authority?

Or perhaps, based on your math skills (ie 2% x 5 years = 10%) you're a precocious 6 year old who got a new computer for her birthday?

Seems my posts strike some nerves in you. . . I must be challenging your viewpoints and beliefs. Maybe your world isn't so happy-go-lucky, thus having to retort with name-calling.

Ellen, Don't even respond. All they have is hate and negativity in their hearts.

No Ellen your posts strike a discordant note with the truth.

I am calling you a liar, because you have been lying.

The question remains unanswered, Miss. Do you have any credentials to lend weight to you otherwise contemptable posts?

Ellen,

You really should disclose a little about yourself. Even if you feel the information wouldn't support your views no one will give you much credibility unless you do. Most of us here are not 747 Captains but that doesnt mean that we don't have a right to our opinions. Own your positions by laying your cards on the table.

You have some interesting views and I an curious to know where they are coming from.
