Does latest Pinnacle announcement matter?

I have about 4400 hrs in the right seat of the RJ alone. Considering that Colgan is using the "projected hour" rule to predict when Colgan pilots will have 2500 hrs to upgrade, it's pretty embarrassing to have a FO who has more time in the RJ than the total time of that new Colgan captain in the left seat. Word of advice, listen to your FO. Half of them probably have more time in the RJ than you do total time. Keep your arrogance checked on the flight deck, and hopefully you won't end up on the news for a violation, skidding off, etc.

Ok, so you are around July 2007 hire at PCL based on you being in the 1800's on the seniority list as you claim. So you are on the line in October 2007.
40 completed months on the an 4400 hrs total=110 hours a month flying...
So....which is it
1) You lie and exaggerate
2) You received a special FAA exemption to fly over 100 a month because you are awesome
3) Furloughed from another airline in which you flew over a 1000 in the RJ before PCL.

Dude I'm ballparkin it, I did not total my logbook for a post here. Fact is I flew 990 to 1000 hrs each 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. That's just around 4000. Add the 2007 sept-dec and this year Jan-feb, that's another 6 months. 4400 is actually a good estimate. But nice deflection. Care to address our problems at hand?

I have not been on the forums for quite a while and I remember why. It's sad to see all this finger pointing. We as pilots didn't make the management decisions to put the company in its current position. Concentrate on doing your job, making the best decisions you can for yourself, your family and things WILL work out. Whatever happens, you can't control it, so why bash each other? Its a sh** sandwich and we all have to take a small bite. I am proud of the FO's I work with at 9L and look forward to working with the FO's @ 9e. Were all in this together.

I'm not arguing that point at all. I know they could lose money like it's cool, the Pinnacle magazine comes to mind. What I am saying is that the negotiated was a deal that was contingent on us being payed a certain amount, and when that changed it affected the amount of income they expected. You are right, it's not up to us to work for less to keep the airline profitable, I am just stating what happened.
