I am not sure if Higney's character is under assault here, as I haven't followed this thread today, but I just now came on the forums and fear this might be the case.

Just for the record, Mr. Higney has helped me out several times via these forums, and he doesn't even know me. I would say he goes "above and beyond," too, not just half arsed help.

Whereas most of us (myself included) prefer anonymity, it seems some folks here know him more than just screen name and avatar, and I think that takes courage. Whatever frustration you have, may very well justified (it also may not....), but to take things out on Higney I think is incorrect/inappropriate.

The good news: yes, we are getting Qs... 48 to be exact. We are buying Horizon.

The bad news is the integration bids will cripple us so much we will declare bankruptcy. Republic will buy us, and our seniority numbers will fall right behind the Midwest guys. Shy Guy will be hired as the new CFO , and all pilots will be converted to flight attendants. (when hiring starts, feel free to reapply)

Guess it's time to jump to GoJet!

Fly, don't you understand that people frequent these boards for only the most accurate, inside industry info?! How dare you sully it all up with your sarcasm and outright falshoods! (Keep up the good work)

NONKOOLAID and 9easy have a striking resemblance to someone who was probably suspended or cornered. Shy? Where'd you go? I know the best head doctor in town, I'll give you the number next time I see you around the D.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything... I'm was responding to ignorant statements.

The vast majority of Deltoids on these forums are what is known as scope hawks among the union types. The absolute and number 1 priority in the contract is scope.
We all get it, we know how important scope is, my point was don't bother telling us how important it is, try to convince your own colleagues (even the ones that aren't on these forums). You guys have one of the worst scope sections in the country. How was his statement ignorant? You already had a chance to fix it once and didn't. If you didn't fix it last time when you had a golden opportunity why would you fix it the next chance you get?

I'm still here, what I miss? Superbowl weekend and time with the family kept me busy.

Since I already worked in Inflight at Republic, I wonder if I get my old date of hire back
