Angry Sloppy pilots

I don't know what the problem is, but why do so many pilots look so godamn sloppy? Pick up your pants, tuck in your shirt and shine your ******* shoes. You think its airlines like MESA & GOJETS That bring our profession down?, maybe its the sloppy pilot with dirty old doc martins, a yellow shirt and a clip on tie! I know some of you guys are "too cool" to shine your shoes or wear your hat, or even wear a real tie but you look like a jackass and more often than not, the more sloppy you look, the more sloppy you fly!

I'm sure you are referring to some of the elitists that you are encountering at training for XJet?! But if that is the case let that be testament to the wonder pilots that company is hiring these days. Some 20 year old kid with 300 hours who doesn't even know how to tie a tie, but yet is competent to fly 50 or more passengers around.

If and when you go to FFDO school you will never wear a regular tie again. It is exciting enough fighting in tight quarters without giving the bad guys a tie to pull on.

As far as the rest of the uniform goes, I find it hard to get excited about being identified as an airline pilot when I know how much shlt we have put up with. I can hardly look at a pilot these days without thinking, "loser."
Like someone said, you get what you pay for.

Try pulling on my tie. And lets see how long you last before your ass is on the ground tapping out. Gotta love MMA.

The worst excuse for looking like a slob that I have ever heard...especially since everyone knew when they accepted the job what the compensation would be.

And Saab, might I suggest you tone it down just a little bit - I agree with your point here but you're starting to sound like a whiny biiach...

I was at Colgan for 9 months and went to a fair amount of airports and saw it then too. I wasnt talking about the training at XJT.
