If they're going to declare bankruptcy and get concessions from you guys, its going to happen no matter what happens here. You can take cuts now and take even more cuts later, or you can just play chicken with them and see if they'll actually go the bankruptcy route.
Pinnacle pilots fought way too hard for way too long making way too little money to ever EVER give anything back to that company. Make all the money you can til the last day, don't give a single cent. Make them realize they're looking to the wrong people for money to fix their own mistakes.
And you need to make it clear to your union leadership that giving even a single inch on any issue will result in a decertification of ALPA. Concessions cannot be tolerated.

play chicken with these assho .. les. We dont give a single cent before the other employee groups give it up first. Look at the history of other pilot groups and concessions. F-U Menke. You want my cash? Lead by example. DO as I've done or I was willing to do first. That worked for me in Iraq, Kosovo and Bosnia. It should work for you numbnuts.

I agree with the NO to pay cuts. Whats the math on the financial trouble we are in? How do we even know this gets us close to staying out of Bankruptcy? Seems to me that management already knows which direction this is all going "bankruptcy". If they were serious about keeping us out they would not offer to match our 5% after we agree to the cut. They would be leading by example and taking a bigger hit. This is all smoke in mirrors and part of the play book to get labor groups ****ed at each other before going to the courts. Keep the cash in our pockets as long as we can. ALPA this is your chance to show not only Pinnacle but all regionals that we are at our bottom line already and the only direction to go is up. What happened to "taking it back" campaign?? Don't tell me its now turned to "Giving it Back"...
