ORD parking lot to gate - how long?
#11
The other day I got there around 316 as the 315 bus was pulling away. The next one wasn't until 325, however when he pulled up he yelled IM TERMINATING so I had to wait for the 335 which didn't get there until 340. My si was 340 and I didn't get to the computer until 355. 40 freaking minutes it took! snipper have you tried taking 88 to 294 to 90. It cut a good 5-10 min off the thorndale route, but you pay another toll.
Normally I would avoid the tristate because of the construction right around Ohare. One thing I like about the 290/Throndale route is even at rush hour, traffic is tolerable. I'll give the tristate/90 route a try next time (although with tolls going up Jan 1...)

I have the same commute. It's easy! Traffic will dictate the train or the car! It's nice having options. I live right around the corner from a blue line stop and the Kennedy (90/94). It's nice being able to relax on the train and then use the Known Crew Member ID line. Good luck on your choice!

Thank you kindly for your forgivness! haha I guess I'm still a noob when it comes to pizza in Chicago. My first exposure to Chicago-style pizza was at Giordano's next to MDW, and I recently heard that they were filing for bankruptcy protection and would possibly go out of business. So I guess I need to add Geno's East on to my list for the next time I'm in town!

From Cumberland the CTA only take 8 minutes..
Just to clarify, are you saying if I drive my car to the Cumberland station, park, jump on the CTA and shoot into the terminal it is better than trying to live close to the employee lot?
I want to be REALLY close - time wise, but no Ghetto.
THE CTA Harlem Ave (as well Cumberland) station is located in pretty nice
neighborhood.
