Default E-Jet vs. CRJ 700/900

I'm looking for some feedback from any of ya'll that have experience on both a/c, i.e. typed and have flown both. My company is in the process of upgrading our 200's to newer and more capable equipment and I'd like to be able to give some advice from those of you with time on both. Our a/c operate in hot, high environment with limited technical resources away from base. We use the a/c as mainline with up to 1350 mile legs and have to tanker fuel quite a bit to due availability and price on our shorter routes. I know that the Embraer vs. CRJ performance numbers, what I'm looking for is customer service experience, dispatch reliability, experience on the line, quality of radar, ease of use and utilization. We are less than pleased with the 200's as most people are at this point and I am very disappointed with customer service from Bombardier. Please, I'm only looking for knowledgeable feedback and not speculation or rumor. Thanks in advance.

If that's what you're looking for then you came to the wrong place...

You probably need to talk to regional airline Directors of Ops and/or Maintenance to get the factual info you are looking for, not pilots.

General consensus across bizav is Bombardier customer service sucks, even up to and including the GLEX.

Which operation is this?

Also when you say E-Jet, are you talking about 170/175's or the 145's?

The E-jet is the 170/190. The operation is overseas and chooses to remain discreet and I do speak basic French and have even attempted to call them from a 514 number whilst in Quebec and have gone so far as to offer to pick up manual revisions from Mirabel...This customer service issue goes beyond their a/c as well. I have an Evinrude outboard.

Get Saabs instead, hands down the best plane out of all of those.

Especially for those 1350nm hops out of hot, high airports when tankering fuel.

There are bunch of E-Jets in Middle East...not many CRJs though. That should tell you about high temp ops
