I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just wondering, are Republic pilots pay protected for something like this? I know that there is no cancellation pay for WX, but I'm not sure about MX or something like this.

Pilots at RAH are NOT pay-protected for ANY cancellations, unfortunately. A serious shortcoming of the CBA (hopefully to be remedied by the next one!) and one of the many reasons I'm glad to be a former employee of Bedford's Flying Circus.
Something very similar happened just under a year ago - all the computer systems in IND went down and the only thing they had working were phones. Unfortunately, they couldn't call anybody since all the crew phone numbers were ... you guessed it ... in the computers! Yet another way the infrastructure of that place has not REMOTELY kept pace with the size of the airline.
