Default Regional Life...???

I'm sure this is beating a dead horse, but who's got what in the works? Seems all the regionals are hiring, but a lot have a load of dirty laundry to clean up before life gets better, so please weigh in but don't be personal, support yourself with legitimate arguments (ie. being junior manned doesn't count, that's part of being Junior).

Pinnacle/Mesaba/Colgan - Pilots being displaced. Possible furloughs in the future. New ISL is a cluster with no chance of being fixed soon.

Republic/Shuttle - Playing a game of Unionized hardball by parking and furloughing pilots.

Go Jet - Are they expanding? Possible DTW base soon?

Air Wisconsin - Hiring, but how long will an RJ200 fleet remain profitable?

ASA/Express Jet - Hiring, but what's happening here?

Skywest - Hiring with no union (still) but will ASA and Express Jet work to have them integrated?

American Eagle - Losing pilots to American Airlines attrition...

What else is going on out there to keep a pilot out or in to a specific regional? And going to a Major should just be assumed. And here is the opinionated question.... Where to go for a Michigan based Pilot? Keep it clean and keep it brief folks!

Why you would start a thread wanting people to air their company's dirty laundry is beyond me. And if you really think the pilots know what is "REALLY" in the works at their company you are sadly mistaken. Oh, and it`s not just the regionals that have dirty laundry dude, better broaden your horizon. It sounds to me like you are just fishing for rumors, so why don`t you read the forums and you can find all the info you need.

Yea, what he said! Also "junior manned" doesn't just happen to junior people, if they need a crew member to work on his day off he is junior manned. Can happen at any seniority level. Go research and make your own decision, what works for one person might not work for the other. All airlines have their pros and cons.

Incorrect. Even after all the Saabs are parked, we are still hiring. Displacements are a fence thing, not overall.

Also I don't think Eagle has lost much to American yet. I don't throw any eggs in a basket that doesn't exist yet.

!
Possible furloughs in the future, really dude? "Possible Furloughs" can happen at ANY airline. BTW 9E needs pilots in a bad way, as do the Saabs out of IAD and IAH. Don't see any "F" bombs dropped here anytime soon.

Second, Saab drivers will be going to either another Saab base, the CRJ, or possibly the Q. What exactly is wrong with the ISL? Where is it a cluster? Seems pretty straight forward to me.
