9L BOS Closing?

Yup, that's me. Alright, I always wanted to be a legend! Do I get to be a 900 captain now?!?! I'll admit it's pretty impressive because I'm the first pilot in the history of the company to change their aircraft assignment by crying. Pretty big deal over here.
Speaking of ridiculous rumors, this one was started by one ******* in my class after his lack of multi time put HIM in the Saab instead of me. Unfortunately there were no tears on my part at least. Apparently he's the one who got upset as he felt it necessary to start the rumor.

Anyone know what a 2840 number would look like in JFK for the 200
One thing's for sure, the cost of having to train multiple groups of pilots on multiple aircraft in the same year is going to really hurt the bottom line and there are already guys from our class it's happening to.

Here's the only problem I see dude. I know exactly what you're saying, and had I known 3 guys from my base and seat would be getting displaced on the final award, I would have volunteered for it. But this is what I could see happening. We could go there right now and have quite a few people junior to us, but we've still got 3 more rounds of this. These displacements are reaching deep and every indication is that the Saab positions are going to migrate further and further down the list as there are plenty of guys senior to us who want the jet. Look at where the new hires are going. We may or may not have enough junior guys to us on the jet right now, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to go take the displacement to JFK CRJ, and then as soon as you finish that training, get REdisplaced to the Saab as the 100+ Saab FOs above us get displaced into CRJ spots. We don't have 100 guys junior to us on the jet. So basically at that point you will have spent over 6 straight months in training only to be right back where you started. I may be totally wrong here, and this is just one possibility I see, but it's going to be tough for any of us to hold down a seat anywhere until this shakes out and everyone above us settled into where they want.
