This number is shut down from 02:45 am until 09:00 am Eastern time, agents have been instructed in this case to create a listing for you.
Supposedly they have an online system available now but I've yet to talk to anyone who has used it.

My company has it, it's accessed through ifc.id90.com, and it's great. No more of the of the above issues. As far as your company's password, hopefully you can contact your pass bureau or your JS chair to get to it. Just fill out a couple screens with the usual info that's asked over the phone and your confirmation number is emailed to you.

Yes you can list through ifc.1d90.com and it's simple. You use ur company's to letter code, so for an American pilot it would be "AA" and in the username you would put "aaemp" and the password is the 3 digit accounting number which for AA is 001.
I have had luck with some agents that would list at the gate but it was painful to get them to do so and it wasn't easy either, it seemed like they were running a background check on you. AA does not have the best system to list you, I like United's where they ask u ur employee number and two letter airline code and boom it's done!

I have listed at the gate several times at ORD, of all places. I just explained to them I didn't expect to be in so early and they were cool about it.
As far as the whole AA/AE jumpseat proceedure and whether AA/AE pilots should have to do the same. In short, no. AA has made it more difficult to list, no the crew members. They are trying to get home, just like us and who wants to see this turn in to another management-made mess where, once again, the pilots take the brunt end for it.
