This is basically what I was wondering. Thanks! Im not planning on an upgrade anytime soon, purely curiousity on my part. Lets face it crazy stuff happens in this industry so I wanted to make informed decisions.

You can't upgrade for 1 year. You can't switch as an FO for 2 years.
Section 24.14.G
3. First Officers
a. A First Officer may bid and be awarded a change of Domicile at any time.
b. A First Officer may not be awarded a change in Category (status and/or equipment) until:
i. Upgrade to Captain; or
ii. One (1) year after date of hire, to attain another First Officer position.
c. Following an award to a different aircraft as a First Officer, the Pilot may not be awarded a Captain Position for twelve (12) months or a new First Officer Category for twenty-four (24) months.
d. A Pilot subject to a First Officer freeze will be released from such freeze to prevent the hiring of a Captain off the street.

I think it was on the other Pinnacle thread, but someone said and so I was under the assumption that anyone hired pre ISL is considered "pre merger." So, those of us hired in April, like myself, are pre merger Colgan. The cutoff would be like...what was it, mid June or something when the list came out? I might be misunderstanding it or that info might just be wrong, but that's what someone said before with no objections.
