I have no idea how accurate this information is as it came from my roommate who's an XJT guy, but he said his friend was supposed to start the 12th and they called to cancel the class shortly before it was supposed to start. I figured if it was true I would have heard about it elsewhere though so perhaps he was mistaken, though I would understand if the training department was a little overwhelmed (or shortly about to be).

No, we have 12 new hires Saab IAD in class. We did the first week in MEM, now we are all up in MSP to finish ground. Sim in HOU after.

Also we have 5 Mesaba Saab instructors going through class with us as well, to be brought over to the Colgan side.

I do know a couple people had to be pushed back to a later class due to instructor availability (sim I'm assuming). 6 people came from the Mesaba/Colgan side and the other 6 were told it would be a 9E RJ class but then were told that class was not going to happen (maybe that was the cancellation rumor) and giving the option to take the Saab 9L 9/12 class, which they did.

You're are correct, I just looked at the awarded lines. Looks like a couple of people that are senior forgot to bid again. Those guys wouldn't normally be awarded those lines. The guy directly senior to me in base usually forgets to bid every other month.
