I was presented with an oppurtunity to read the dialogue your union presented in regards to SLI, and I was dumbfounded as to some of the accusations and nomenclature they decided to bring forth to the negotiating table, hence why i feel the way i do...I dont like everything my union does, but we have the right people running the ship, and I'de like to see that carry on, whether it be 9E, XJ, or 9L reps for that matter...
yet it was OK for the Mesaba negotiating committee to renig on the signed contract and argue the Bloch should have used checkride date for 9e for DOH rather than formerly agreed upon in the contract 1st day of class? And which ones aren't to be trusted?

I know y'all know I work for 9e and therefore won't believe me without proof, so I would be happy to email you the official union email we received about it, along with the secret decoder ring, last 4 digits of my social, and a notarized copy.....
Are you trying to portray XJ as the bad guy? I'm glad they shot it down, they should of made it one day. If you want to work, bid to work. Enable max credit and there you go. Are you enabling max credit and then bidding credit?

Dude calm down not trying to play bad guy vs good guy, just stating a FACT in regards to another posters question that he thought they still had to vote on it. I told him the result of said vote. Just because I said XJ said "no" doesn't mean I'm crucifying them, I'm just stating a fact....

And if you want to work, work smarter, not harder. Bid max days off and low time(so picking up won't give you a 30/7 or 100/mo limiting factor) and pick up at 150% on days YOU want to work, not when prefbid wants you to work. you can enable max credit and fly 95 hours with 12- 13 days off and get paid for 95, or fly only 85 with 16 days off, pick up 2 days and credit 100+ at 150%....sometimes even fly 40 and credit 100 if you play it right....I've had several months this year of 120 credit hours while only flying 85 hours or even a CDO line. And if I don't feel like picking up some week, well it's not on my schedule so I'll be happily at home with a beer while you're in BFE on a reduced rest overnight on your work your butt off 95 hour line...and still have more days off and more credit than you....

+1... It should be possible to achieve 120 hours of credit without timing out, and that's what premium pick up allows.

If you want to so desperately control pilot pick ups, get us an LOA that pays anyone who has line credit above the average 150% for all credit above that average.

Misinformation again. Our guys screwed the pooch on the doh issue too. I saw the list they gave XJ and it had our old date of hire on it. Even after the contract was signed, our guys didn't change it.

Our guys then decided to change it last minute and the delays ensued. Why they ever presented our date of hire as anything other than the day we showed up for class is beyond me. Thank god the award is out...it greatly limits how much more our merger committee can mess things up.

You can pick up more than 3 days over vacation if you so wish. Vacation is not included in your days off anymore... food for thought. I know as an FO I never have money to go anywhere anyways.

All parties were bound by the ALPA merger policy. 1st day of Class for 9E pilots can't count because of the by-laws. Get a hold of the negotiating bullet points that the union has published. You will see that 9E and 9L was pulling crap out of their ass while Mesaba had counter points based on factual and historical published data. Argue with me all you want but look at the negotiations and you will smack your forehead in frustration.

Weird, I thought it counted because of the by-laws. I was being paid by Pinnacle and was also bound by their 121 drug abatement program.

Well at least new hires don't have to go through this confusion.

And yet another reason why ALPA is a worthless bloated organization.
