The way I have seen it work at XJ, the MEC sets the tone and the culture. The MEC decides how the whole thing gets structured and the manner in which everything gets handled.
After that leadership is in place, the LEC and the MEC for that matter, become plug and play for the organization. It won't matter who is in there as long as the initial structure and culture are set.
And for those 9E guys thinking the XJ MEC is not "militant" enough for PNCL, you couldn't be more wrong. Sometimes it's about the right path and not beating the drums.
When it's time to get nasty, they will, trust me.
There's a reason most XJ guys trust their MEC representation.

I'm guessing that once everyone starts integrating and you get to know some of the pilots from each company, people will realize that we are all the same and we want the same things.
I have many many friends that work for 9E and only a couple are douchebags, lol (they know who they are)

As for the guys attacking Higney, your angst at him is very misplaced. He was an excellent rep. So are the DTW guys. So, DTW XJ - you are in good hands.

I don't know if they wil be - but I'll take your word for it. I will also hope so. All I hope to convey is that we need NWA-style MEC/LEC militancy with this place. Anyone is welcome to be my rep through vote if that is their M.O.
