Go re-read the transcripts. You are putting 2 different pieces of the puzzle together. In the first proposal of joining up groups, this would be true. What you are leaving out is the part of first combining 9E/9L from the date of Colgan's purchase, followed by that combined group being merger with XJ. I don't recall the exact conditions and restrictions asked for in that proposal, but everyone would keep their seat/base/equip. When the other groups weren't on board with that, other changes to the proposals were made. In the end neither XJ or 9L changed their positions at all. Both groups only went with what would help themselves the most. In the end Bloch used much of what 9E proposed, until he did the C&R's and Quotas from the 6/1/11 list and staffing figures from 7/1/10. That's where the problem was in the end that 9E pilots are being flogged with now.
I do not see a problem with the actual list (everyone will have their gripes, but it's overall not catastrophic). The way quotas were handled is the problem. It should have raised Bloch's eyebrows when he saw that 2/3 carriers weren't at their quota yet, and one was well over.

Get the right document and read it.

Actually not for me... essentially, all Colgan FOs were stapled below me :-D
I am an FO, for 9E FOs (Jet guys), 9L was stapled. In essence, the Q was never going to be reduced and therefore no 9L Q CA will lose their seat. So, with exception to the saab CAs, 9L was stapled.
You all can argue whats fair or not I really dont care - I made out like a bandit . So for me to say its unfair making out so well... something must be wrong.
Being in the bottom 5% of the 9E list pre-merger, I wasnt going to upgrade until the last upgrade class or so. Now, I will enjoy great seniority until that upgrade. My upgrade cant get any longer than it already was...
My imporvement was like 20+%

I just love the "breath of fresh air" FO toolbags that are so giddy about their shiny jet upgrade. Newsflash: 1) Upgrades happen if/when they happen. Carefull counting those chickens. 2) 10 will probably get you 20 that the 200's leave early, and then you'll be?.....
Please stay on the shiny jet. I really don't need the entitlement attitude in my cockpit.

My only expectation was I would upgrade in seniority order at 9E. That hasnt changed for me - I dont think the timeframe has either.
Lets go JETS!!!!
