I hope you leave this crap out of the cockpit and at the ballot box where it belongs, otherwise you're going to be one miserable individual.
I have 500 pilots at 9E with DOH later than mine senior to me now, I got bent over the barrel on this integration as bad as anyone. And I would never take out my frustrations on anyone at 9E.
I'm about to go to 200 class at 9E and I'm going to make friends and have fun, and after you fly with me you'll be saying, "XJ guys are pretty cool!" and your FA's will be saying, "damn, I wish he'd mark an X in my J!"
Be a professional and realize we all work for the same crappy company now.

can someone show me, where this proof is in writing that neither National nor DL approved of or supported said picket? I've been looking for 10 months now and have found nothing to support that. lemme guess...1 peson at XJ said so so it must be true.

We were the break in unity when everyone else disagreed.

You are incorrect. NOBODY ever asked us to not picket. Even though notice was given two weeks prior, the other MECs didn't even comment on the event until less than a day prior to the event. Also, despite ample notice prior to the event, ALPA National and the DAL MEC both remained silent.
Each MEC had their own challenges within their pilot groups throughout the negotiation of the JCBA and each MEC dealt with their challenges in their own way. Its unfortunate that we had a disagreement over this issue but its what we had to do to get our MEC and our pilots to the finish line. History clearly shows that our actions were not detrimental to the goals and direction of the joint effort.

On a sarcastic note (in response to other comments), I guess 9E pilots were the only ones hurt in this SLI. There are no XJ pilots or Colgan pilots getting kicked out of their seats. . . Have you looked at the list? There are people at each airline that got screwed. Why are you guys the victims now?

Pretty sure our 9L fastread said something about it. You probably didn't hear anything as y'all aren't on the same level of communication as us. Again, I'm glad we have our MEC behind us.

I believe he was referring to notification from a national level. They (National) love to post notifications of, articles and pictures of picketing on the ALPA website and Fastreads. In this case, there was nothing. Now on a local level, we received notifications of the picketing 2 weeks early as Erikson said, and an email stating not to participate because it was not being supported by XJ, nor 9L MECs. There was an unsupported rumor of a letter signed by Prater and Moak asking not to picket, but only the recipient of this supposed letter would know.

Thanks Murf you are correct, hence why I said DL and national and not Xj and 9l. And since someone is bound to say it....just. because National (or anyone) remains silent on an issue does not mean they don't support it

The problem with not picketing is this: management is not your friend, no matter what company. 2/3 of the companies used to contract for the notorious NWA. DALPA not supporting a picket wouldn't surprise me, since they are a "cooperative" MEC.
Picketing can and should occur the minute you are working under a contract the day after amendable.
One thing I hope that XJ reps will have in working for us, is a fire in their belly to take NO crap from Corp. Do not give Corp a chance to say, "sorry, our bad." XJ Reps, if you smell blood, go all in against the company.
