Wow I thought regionals are desperate for pilots right now? Are carriers just not hiring lower time guys because of insurance or the pending ATP rule? I thought places like Eagle would be after 250 hour wonder kids already.

1600/150 here. I know a couple had below published min's with internal rec's. I think the 100multi is pretty firm, but thats just what I heard.

Some of the regionals have hired very low time pilots such as Pinnacle but there are still plenty of pilots with around 1000 hours who are applying.

Eagle: Published 800/100 or 500/50 (latter requires an AMR paid for jet transition course and 2 year contract).
The class I was in this month had ~30 people. Average time was 1000/150 (Highest ~5000, lowest around 600) , average age around 30 (oldest ~50, youngest 21). Incidentally, oldest person actually had the least amount of hours and did a "First officer" program (PTF). Most were previous flight instructors, 1 prior 121, 1 or 2 135.
I had 1100/110, 24 and was 6th from bottom.

Not a done deal, but I think most FO hiring will be limited now to the Gateway participants. And yes, a ton went to other regionals. Better for my seniority though
