Hah! Funniest thread in a while!
Oral unit okay...
Seriously though. Grab a beer head down to the pool and take a breather for a little bit. Chat with some folks Then back at it. The people in my class that didn't study in groups washed out. Maybe not before the oral but during the sim.
I'm psyched, starting IOE this weekend!

Make sure you wash your new shiny pilot shirts a few times and soften up that collar too. There's nothing like a crisp sunburn and a crisp collar. I think 5 years later I still have red marks on my neck.
I second all the comments about study groups and taking time off to not think about stuff.

Passed my indoc final yesterday. What a bear it was to do. There were some questions that I got wrong because I originally marked the correct answer then changed them because of self doubt. One guy in my class failed the exam by 2 questions, was told to get his belongings from the class room and hotel and go home. I was surprised by this because he did really well on all the quizes, whereas I did pretty horrible some days. Systems starts Tuesday. Thanks for all the advice.

Every company I have worked for and every FAA certificate I applied for, the written was the least difficult part. Heck, in most indoc classes, they practically tell you "this is a question, and this is the answer" for the written tests. If one cannot pass the written, his chance of passing the sims is almost zero.
