They're phasing them out through 2012 but we're gettting more Q's. I'm sure we'll have flow into the Q from lost Delta flying or we could pick up additional routes on the US Airways side. There's always a niche for 37 seat Turboprop flying. Especially since we're going to start seeing the 50 seat RJ disappear.
U shouldn't believe anything until its in writing. Remember how Colgan is supposed to have a non stop flow of 2 a month if we exercised the next set of Q's? We aint getting any as i type this, so they either delayed them, or sold the options, etc. Regardless, there are no deliveries that we as pilots know about.

It's all ready been announced that the ATR's will be around till 2014, even though they will slowly be parking them from now till then. The thing about parking them right away is that it serves some markets that can't be served by any of the jets. KeyWest for example. The 700 could do it, but the EMJ cant. Well see what happens. I wouldn't complain about being displaced to the jet this fall.

What hub would you suggest they fly this airplane out of Key West, how many empty seats do you think they will have since they will have to take it to Ny or Tx... Come on guys, how limited is that airplane going to be... 737 MIA-EYW... One things is ATL, but the AA hubs are much further.

People need to look at APA scope. Unless things have changed, Eagle is the only one who can fly 70 seat RJs to feed AA. Also, unless things have changed, the ATR were listed by serial number in APA scope. I wouldn't look for a Q operator to be able to jump in until the APA is appeased. As far as parking the ATRs, I've heard they're looking to buy a replacement.
