Default Which regional still has furloughed pilots?

I know Comair does and that's sad but they are downsizing in an epic manner and it is the nature of the beast. I ride on Comair flights a lot and am amazed at the 8 and 9 year F/Os and the 12 year captains who will be in the right seat soon.

All that said, who still has pilots awaiting recall? And of those which do, how many are returning?

A large quantity of Comair's equipment is actually over at Skywest now...

I believe Mesa and Comair are the only ones with guys on the street. After processing the first round of "decline/resignations" Mesa still has 423 on the street. I'd be surprised if more than 1/3 return.

Out of complete curiosity alone. Has anyone given preferential invites/interviews to the Comair guys losing their seats due to loss of equipment? I know that when ACA (a.k.a. Indy Air) went down, a lot of guys got picked up by Air Wis, Jet Blue and others. Anything being done to help the Comair guys?

A great deal of regionals are offering interviews to Comair guys. GoJetsssss even had an open house in CVG a couple months ago.

Non-regionals... not so much.

I hope no Comair furloughs are "awaiting recall" at this point.

Is that because Delta is not hiring at this time, or because you wanted to remind us how much the entire Delta pilot group loathes the entire Comair pilot group?

Just wait till next year, when the junior captain will be a 22 year guy, and junior FO will be a 13 year guy!
