You have to be selected for the interview, it's not automatic. And you'd be an FO.

I want to fly on Horizon if they are hiring 750 hour direct entry captains.
I don't think so.

Default DEC's

I know Colgan was NOT hiring DEC's about 7 month's ago because I talked to Chuck personally about it and he refused. Also Mesa has all but stopped this as well. I know we are not taking any on the Beech anymore. We are very low on FO's in some positions, which is leading to ppl being hired under 1000/ 100. Remember that the only reason a union company like Mesa can and will hire DEC's is because they have no qualified FO's for the needed CA's. This just isn't the case anymore. That is all the light I can provide for now.

As I do work for Colgan now, they are definately hiring DEC captains for the B1900. There was one in the last class and I believe at least one in the current class.
