Now let me see if I understand this...
Mesaba's/Colgan's Merger cmte is contesting 9E seniority list because over 6 months ago 9E's seniority list's DOH was adjusted from checkride date to Class date in order to level the field and have 9E, XJ and 9L in the same leveled terms in order to prep for a SLI?
Am I understanding this right?
Now let me see if I understand this...

So, was Mesaba's (and/or Colgan's) merger cmtes intentions to then bring their seniority lists DOH back to CHECKRIDE date, so that everybody is again, in the same level and same date terms in order to prep for the SLI, but instead using checkride date instead of class date?
Or in the other hand, is this just a blunt and flagrant attempt from XJ/9L merger cmtes to try to obtain a 2 month seniority hit on every single 9E pilot regardless of integration method chosen by Mr. Bloch? That cant be right... Why now and not months ago when the adjustment took place?
If this is indeed the true intentions of XJ merger cmte, then so be it. Fine by me. Really. Lets wait for Bloch's decision and move on.
Now, after all this process is over, for the remaining days I may have left in the regional industry, I do not want to hear sh!t about UNITY on any, I repeat any of the union emails, letters or other correspondence. Personally, any speech raising anthems of working "together", or "we are all in this together lets work it out" BS or just any reference of all of us as "brothers and sisters" is plain and simply an insult to our intelligence, at least mine.
This thread is living proof that apparently we are all crawling with a knife in our teeth and are more than ready to stick it on anybody's back or chest.
If you really think about it, its pretty damn sad...

If this is how the XJ MEC is going to treat an item already agreed upon months ago, I wonder how they will handle the ISL if it goes any other way than DOH. This reminds me of the way another group that didn't like their Arbitrator's decision (not DOH) handled themselves. Let's all hope they wake up before they sink our ship for good.

You know what? Lets all just stay separate. Mesaba you can have your fancy 900's and fly coast to coast and overnight in SFO and your saabs that are going away. Colgan You can have your q's that pinnacle cant find any more business for and your ancient saabs, hell even bring back the 1900's! and we here at pinnacle can have our 16 900s and our tin can headed for the desert 200s and we can all just let pncl management do what ever they want with us. Im sure it will work out great, just ask transtates compass and go jet, or ask frontier how they are doing. We are going to probably fold up shop in 6 years anyways so why deal with all this right?
I mean the lack of respect for one another is getting out of hand. I have actually gained a lot of respect for colgan becuase they have kept their mouth shut. Our guys and mesabas guys sound like little children playing the he said she said game.
Lets let our unions dot their I's and cross their T's and lets start acting like grown ups and lay low for a couple weeks and come back when this is all over and work together.

This board is about the sharing of information, I think it's great that there is some dialog between our groups actually discussing what's going on instead of hiding our heads in the sand.

Sad that I have an opinion different than yours, or sad that I express it?
The only reason I get on here is to hear rumors and speculation, especially from Pinnacle and Colgan pilots, because they are going to have an entirely different take on the situation.
So what if I want mooney to be my gear biatch, at least he knows how to have a good time.
