Compass, What a ******** joke

NWA bought the certificate under CH11 proceedings. Very different from a CH7 liquidation. IDE is still a viable company (the fact that shares of corporate stock are still trading attests to that). Just because NWA has a TA with their pilots, doesn't mean that previous labor agreements don't apply here. Like I said... there's a lot of legal grey area.
If the IDE pilots do put up a fight (which I do think is unlikely since it seems that everybody has moved on), it's almost certain that at the very least they could delay the launch of compass while it's all argued in the courts.
Just figured that I would bring it up.

MEC = Master Executive Council, or the local leadership for each company's pilot group.
TA = Tenative Agreement. Its what the union & company negotiators decide on before its ratified by the pilot group and actually becomes a contract.

Saabloser...
I don't have to wory about you showing up at FedEx...your attitude represents a good portion of people that get into flying for the wrong reasons. I heard that a pilot "makes a lot of money, hardly works, and the chicks dig the uniform."
It is obvious that you don't love what you do...and that is the same attitude that will prevent you from getting an interview or even get a job at a major. To bad so sad!
As far as NWA...what you want to live in Minnetonka next to Mom and Dad and eat some freakin Hot Dish??? Loser....
