If your 121 time was at scenic, airlines really consider that to be more 135 in nature since it is nothing like airline flying. The turbine time will help some, but many airlines don't budge on the mins...if you really want to try, get somebody to walk your resume in. That way you avoid the computer screening for minimums.
I'd like to add that my buddy, who is quite a ways up the seniority list now at AWAC got hired with 450TT, only because he applied, they invited him to interview, and he performed to their standards.
Published minimums don't mean anything.

AWAC has been hiring low timers lately, they were desperate for pilots last august 05 - january 06. Did he get hired anytime in that time frame? In my class there was a guy with 400TT. Although he had a type. I highly doubt this guy at 450TT didn't have a type or didn't have any sort of 121 background at that point, but it could happen.
That being said, even if he was a freash CFI with no walkins, etc. don't get peoples hopes up. This doesn't happen every day. Even at the bottom feeders. With classes of 4-6 people a month, the airline is being pretty picky at the people it hires right now. At a recent class, no one had <1,500 TT and all were either freight dawgs or 121 guys.

Hiring has slowed down, but it is still going on. Having someone bring your stuff in seems to be the key.
We get paid a lot, hardly ever work, have terrific 20-hour layovers with first-class hotels on beaches, etc. So I recommend you get it in with us right away.....
They seem to be flexible on the mins depending on a number of factors like experience, recommendations, interview, etc. The pool of guys with 5000 hours at major airlines interviewing for jobs are so-called 'regionals' seems to have dropped off. Many new-hires I talk to were instructing in Cessna 172s a year ago.

Our best (by far) layover is in Wilmington, NC. But the good ones can go away.......
That one is better than our partner airline. I was in the van a couple months ago with US Airways mainline and we got dropped off at the Hilton. They stayed on for the ride to the Comfort Inn!!!

You are smart to wait and try to get on a quality place like AWAC, you're gonna be stuck in the regionals for at least 5-6 years so you are better off being at a place with good people. No I don't work there just know a bunch that do. Imagine being at some of those other places for 5-6 years, big mistake.
