SkyWest warns of 1Q loss, 1st in 23 yrs

That's true Nevets. My comment wasn't hate directed at Xjet or ASA. I like both those companies and wish them the best. I just wanted to counter all the pro-union people who want to see Skywest do poorly. The Skywest division probably made a profit last quarter.
I'd much rather work for a non-union company. I was with Skywest and loved it. Now that i'm with CAL, I have an even larger appreciation for how much better it is to work for a non-union carrier.

If anything this 1Q loss is more of an argument for one list one airline. There’s no reason to carry the cost of two separate carriers with overlapping operations (DEN, ORD, IAH, DIA, CLE, ATL, etc.).

Just seems mighty convenient to me. During times of fierce contract negotiations (ASA/Express Jet). Kudos to "The Man" for finding yet another way to keep the contractual employees from getting what they deserve.

Ditto...for awhile there I was bumming being gone on leave...but seeing what my buddies and girlfriend are putting up with there, I'm almost glad to be putting up with this other shade of bullchips. SkyWest is unrecognizable.

You're in good company at CAL then. Plenty over there who don't care for unions, and their actions show(ed) it.
