Clearly my tone was not properly conveyed. I wasn't complaining in the slightest, hence "yawn," implying that where ever they happen to be hiring into now I'm not too concerned as I've already got my number in the big, happy PinnaColSaba family. Jeez, you need to relax a little.

Don't plan on the -900 quite yet... The vacancy award for those on property doesn't come out until 4/25. Only then will you have an idea of what equipment is available for the 5/9 class. I'm sure someone will spew what's left for the new hires once it's available.

Hey guys...i'm doing a pilot fatigue survey and I really need the perspective of the regional pilot. I've got plenty of responses from the Delta guys, but I need to here what you guys have to say. I'm not going to post the link here because I think I'll get poo poo'd by the moderator, but if you guys go to the aviation survey forum it is listed under pilot fatigue. Thanks

Then again, take all that for what you will because they switched things around on us about 4 times over the course of a week.
We had a guy purposely turn down the Q in favor of the Saab because he was from Houston and figured he could hold it sooner on the Saab. It was awkward for a second when they came in and sent us all to IAH and him to BOS. There's literally no telling what's going to happen until the final day they assign things.

Im willing to bet things will be up in the air until seniority is complete. You might have Mesaba Saab drivers bid into the Q because of the pay bump which might push many of the new guys into reserve or perhaps another base. Time will tell. Either way we have a great pilot group! Welcome aboard
