Default ASA IAD base

So how long do you think IAD will remain a base? This is assuming ASA and XJT operations are separate of course like they are now.

Two more years huh? I'm thinking they are going to just transfer all the flying to the XJT side and ship us back to ATL or wherever. Positive numbers? I feel like we are constantly leaving late.

That could always happen, but we negotiated that contract on good faith before Xjet was even a factor or was absorbed into the ASA umbrella-monster. I would think that they will continue to be operated separately because from what i've seen at United - they really love having not all their eggs in one basket and spreading out the wealth since they lost the 737's...Case in point now when you pull up to the A gates in IAD you see 1) Colgan 2) ASA 3) Xjet 4) Shuttle America 5) Mesa 6) TSA and anybody else I might be forgetting...

It's been a year since I was invol. displaced out of IAD, but I think you can add 7) GoJet 8) Chautauqua.

*And if you add the CAL carriers 9) CommutAir.
