Yeah sure, they might not have made the best choice in a regional airline. However, the Captain pay is better than Great Lakes or CummutAir.

Well, actually I do have a bit of SAPUS (shiny APU syndrome), but flying a SAAB in Texas, during the summer will do that to you.

Say what you want about gulfstream, but SWA has hired MANY captains from there.

Unhappy PFJ/PFT Twice?!?!


So that means that they had to pay for a B737 type too??!?

SWA = great people, great company, but the B737 type requirement, even if they'll interview you w/o it, sucks IMO. Justify it if you will, but that is something that I hope dies with the Airtran merger.
