Aggressive pick-up, don't know what that is, but I'd say no. You can place yourself in a call first position, which if you're senior as a reserve will have you flying instead of sitting. Crew support has total control over the pairings that go to the reserves. You can also pick-up stuff on your days off if scheduling doesn't see a conflict - paid above gaurantee of course.

Usually 5 on 2 off alternating with 4 on 3 off 2x during month.
Not sure what you mean by "aggressive pick up" but yes you may pick up on your off days for credit above guarantee. It is not easy to get lots of extra flying though due to legalities and inflexibility with moving rsv days.

Sorry, aggressive pickup would be picking up a trip while on reserve. I don't want to sit around in FAT doing nothing. Since I'll have a double commute, I've got no desire to pick up extra trips.
How does it work to bid another domicile?
How senior do LAX and SLC go on the bro? Junior reserve would be fine.
How many bro FOs are they moving over to the RJ?

When they have vacancies they award globally based on your standing bid, no domicile locks but there is a one-year seat lock (does not apply to new-hires who become upgrade eligible). But they do not do domicile awards on any set schedule, only when a vacancy occurs so it's possible to get stuck somewhere (I think this is due to moving expenses). They used to domicile swaps, but pilots from domicile A and B swapped and a more senior pilot in C who wanted A complained so they stopped doing that.
LAX is more senior than SLC, but on the EMB it's all pretty junior. few folks stay in the right seat of the bro for long.
Pretty much all of them, when they can. A few might upgrade for quick(er) PIC.

We don't know how many bro FOs will transfer to the jet. Unlike other airlines, we don't have vacancy bids that show how many pilots management wants in each aircraft, seat, and domicile. You just bid for what you want and hope that one day you get an email offering it to you.

Eh, who needs that. No need to hold the company accountable for anything. "Friends" wouldn't screw "friends" over something silly like money, would they?
They WOULD????

Everything is awarded on seniority so just who is it that gets screwed over? The only way you wont get the position if it becomes available is if you are seat locked, locked for turning down an award, or don't meet upgrade minimums.
So for any of you in the next few newhire classes, go ahead and put your bid in for LAX RJ CP or anything else youy want. If a vacancy comes available it will be awarded by seniority. Additionally, it's possible to have several different domicile transfer awards happen before you are finished with training.
