XJT's scope clause is almost copied and pasted out of the (older) RAH contract. If theirs reads like ours does...it doesn't matter if it's a holding company within a holding company within a holding company...it's ALL gotta be one list.

If I was a Skywest pilot...I'd start worrying about representation cuz it sounds like the hippy love fest is over out west.

Whatever you guys do at ASA and XJT, don't let Inc. put you on the crap health insurance plans being offered at SkyWest. No more PPOs or HMOs for us. Just high deductable plans where you pay out the first $6000 if you have a family.

While it does suck we are losing the HMO the above statement is not entirely true. We are keeping our PPO if you have looked at the latest information provided.

But the long call provisions for being notified have to apply.

Just curious, what are ASA's differences?
From one who has been on reserve for 3 years I'd say yours is much better from what I have seen so far. I think long call is the same %. Ready reserve for us is 8 hrs paid for 4. Long call can be converted I think 6 or 8 times, but cannot be converted to RR. You can get called in to do a round trip, then get back and put on RR for the difference of the trip - what is left of 8 hrs.

For ASA it is a contract violation to get rid of our PPO. So for ASA we won't be losing the PPO unless we vote something different. Not so at Skywest.

XJT retirement is actually pretty decent.

Years 1-5 = 6.5% (4% matching + 2.5% DCP)
Years 5-10 = 9% (5% matching + 4% DCP)
Years 10-15 = 11% (6% matching + 5% DCP)
Years 15-20 = 11.5% (6% matching + 5.5% DCP)
Years 20+ = 12% (6% matching + 6% DCP)

100% vested after 5 complete yrs of service.

DCP = Defined Contribution Plan

Does the DCP go into your 401k automatically?
