They will fight for 1 list! The best of both contracts. Our vacation langauge is probably the #1 priority for most XJT pilots.

Hope you get the one list. The industry needs it. Good luck.

I am sure XJT's or ASA's MEC never knew about any of this until early this morning like the rest of the world did. The lack of communication that has been happening at XJT lately, I highly doubt they got word of it beforehand from upper management. Plus, I am sure there were clauses in the management contracts not to divulge any information about things of this nature.

Ask you shall receive, the pertinent points anyway;

3. Unless otherwise agreed, the following provisions shall apply in the event
of a successorship transaction in which the successor is an air carrier or
an affiliate of an air carrier, or a transaction in which the Company
acquires control of another air carrier; and
a. The integration of the seniority lists of the respective pilot groups
shall be governed by Association Merger Policy if both pre-
transaction pilot groups are represented by the Association. If the
other pre-transaction group is not represented by the Association,
Sections 3 and 13 of the Allegheny-Mohawk Labor Protective
Provisions (“LPP”) shall apply. The successor or Company, as
appropriate, shall accept the integrated seniority list, including any
conditions and restrictions, established through Association
merger policy or LPP proceedings, as applicable; and,
b. The respective pilot collective bargaining agreements shall be
merged into one agreement as the result of negotiations among
the pilot groups and the successor or the Company. If a fully
merged agreement is not executed within 9 months from the date
a final and binding integrated pilot seniority list is issued, the
parties shall jointly submit outstanding issues to binding interest
arbitration; and,
I consider the what you say below to be highly likely, with a change to our Section 1 (scope) in place. Hope I'm wrong.

Colgan flys the Q400. I think those things are 74 seats.

CALs scope allows for 74 seat turboprops but only 50 seat jets.

Don't be so sure. ASA MEC, maybe not. But in my 10+ years at XJT, the MEC and management have always been close. And not necessarily in a bad way, just an observation. The MEC guys also have confidentiality agreements with the company.

They found a loop hole in the Colgan thing. 50 seat jets but not turboprops.
