Interviewed 4 weeks ago. It went well and, at the end of the day, I received a conditional offer for employment . I was told to go home and wait for either a call for physical/drug screening or a rejection letter. I have not received either.

Does anyone know how long it's taking Eagle to get back to those that interviewed like me? I can't wait too much longer before I start looking for something else.

We as group, were told not to call headquarters with any requests for updates, that they would contact us instead. Therefore, I don't want to upset them. I figured I would ask here instead.

Can anyone offer up some solid info on this.

Got the call for the pool 1 month to the day after my interview.

If it has been a month, call. Our interview group was told to call if we hadn't heard anything in 4-5 weeks. Turns out they were having trouble getting some paperwork from one of my prior employers. I made a few phone calls and got it straightened out. Now I'm waiting for my stuff to be reviewed. Give them a call. Vicky is very nice and willing to look up your file in the computer and tell you what's up.

I hesitantly, tried calling Vicky as you said but I only got through to her voice mail. I actually called 4 times but left two voice mails. I have not received any responses. I don't feel I should try any further so as not to risk becoming a nuisance.

I would have thought a company like Eagle would have been a little more considerate/caring and at least sent me a rejection letter if they were not interested instead of keeping me on the hook this long. (Who knows, I may hear from them tomorow after all....)

Regrettably, I can not wait any longer and feel I should pursue other opportunities at this time.

Is there anyone else that never ever received a response (email/phone call/letter) from Eagle after being given a pre offer of employment at the end of their interview?? It would be nice to know so I could move on with out feeling guilty.

I'm quietly hoping Eagle gets (eventually) as desperate for new hires as they were back in 2007/08. Dysfunctional lot they are.

desperate yes, all open time schedules for the month of august are now available to be picked up for ot. It's usually blocked, hurry and get on board

Update:

Just received a call from Eagle. Apparently paper work was the hold up. Got it straightened out.

I appreciated the phone call from them. So to answer my own question; it may take as long as 7 weeks to hear from them after the interview/pre- offer of employment.

Interviewed in January2010......still nothing. No email, fax, phone call, USPS mail, ups, fed ex, messenger service, carrier pigeon.....nada.
