Default Do the Pinnacle hiring pools still exist?

Myself and a few other SOC employees were curious if anyone knew whether there are any pilots still in the hiring pools. The hired and waiting on a class date pool or the guaranteed an interview pool.

When was the last time they hired? Can anyone even think back that far? :P Btw- How's flying when it's this hot outside...

From what I was told the pool was flushed. If you are an internal it may be different, but from outside interviewees they will need to reapply.

It's very unfortunate that the pool was flushed without even an email. Some of us quit our jobs, I know I did to join the class that was scheduled, and had to stay unemployed for months.

why on Earth anyone would want to work for 9E right now is beyond me. You will be walking head on into a train wreck at the bottom of the list. 4 years ago I could see, upgrades were flowing and things were moving. Working for a crap operation under the assumption that you could be out in a year or 2, i can see that. If you come to 9E now... DO NOT come here and complain how bad it is.

Depends when the scheduled start date was... If it was within two weeks and he had already put in his notice it could have been too late. Some employers will tell you sorry, too bad, if you want to change your mind about quitting.

Why is it the dumbest post? Explain. I would have to agree with him/her. Didn't you or anyone quit your previous job when you were assigned a class?

I think because he said he was in a pool, which last time I checked didnt have a class date or a job guarantee. If this is the case, then yes it is a dumb post, maybe not the be all end all, but still dumb.

I was scheduled to start a class in October and 3 days prior to the start date, received a phone call saying class was cancelled. I don't understand how this is dumb. But thanks to everyone for being so understanding.
