Colgan Interview

as for security its seems the issues get exaggerated by the president and the owner a bit. The one that happened back in 05 with the security company was dropped I think or the guy was found not guilty. There was another one last year when PW claimed that an employee was pushed into a door while the airport security was trying to serve them papers for a fuel spill. That turned out to be and exaggeration as well.
One word about this company: ridiculous!

about 1000 bucks give or take a few... that includes a 8000 training contract and 16 hour duty days, 5 days a week. deicing and loading the aircraft, checking in pax, dealing with pax issues, rinse and repeat 2-4 times, no money to move, no hotels, no per diem on overnights, no sleeping on the overnights either, you have to stay awake which is why they do not get hotels. just sic time in a caravan.... woohoo.. what a great move. in the end your hourly pay ends up being 4-5 bucks an hour. I made the mistake of going there. Please for the love of god... do not go to pacific wings, new mexico airlines, georgia skies, tennessee skies, or whatever "airline" they have cooked up this year.

Just a word of advice: if you want to work at Colgan, make sure you have a CLEAN RECORD. If you don't, tell them IN THE INTERVIEW!!! Better yet, on your application! They are not messing around with the background stuff. A couple busted check rides in the past is not going to kill your chances, but not telling them about it will get you a ticket home during training real quick. Disclose everything, even if you're not 100% sure if you got a pink slip. Just some words of advice to those who apply...
