Default CRJ crew luggage bin??

Does anyone flying the line on a CRJ200 know what the dimensions are for the overhead bin that holds the crew luggage? Looking at overnight bags and just want to make sure it will fit- ie I don't want it to be too tall to fit in the space on its back or too long one way or the other.

The luggage works/purdy neat bags fit just fine as long as they aren't too overstuffed. Length and width aren't issues depth would be. Empty dimesions of my bag are: H-22" x W-14" x D-8" and it fits easily.

A standard size roll aboard will fit fine. I concur about the purdy neat bag- it will fit as long as it isn't bulging too much or there's a bunch of stuff in the side pockets. Just takes a bit of practice on the best way to get it in and out without tearing off zippers and such.

As an alternative, many crewmembers (myself included) just tossed their bags under the seat in row 13a/b or 12c/d. (It will just barely fit and not obstruct the passengers feet).

Sucks that the crew luggage bin got put out of service by the new cockpit doors...

Crew luggage in the overhead is part of BOW. If you put it in cargo it's got to be part of cargo weight.

Any of the travelpro carryon bags work. They fit a little snug but definitely fit.

The Luggage Works bags are very nice. Be sure to get the metal frame, it will last longer. Also, the 26" is too large for a legal carry-on.

Comair has storage behind the flight deck for crew bags on all 200's.
