If everything goes the way I've been told, you will have about 500 guys below you by May. Imagine that.

In Jan 17th class was hoping for New York but from what you guys sayings seems ill be Miami bound. That equals two types for me in the long run. Hows the commuting from NY to Miami? Just got apartment in long island with my fiance and wanted to know what you guys thought about the long commute?

don't make any sudden moves. with all the movement, you could possibly end in new york on the CRJ. maybe on the embraer if they don't run a displacement anytime soon.

passrider.com will give you a good idea of who flies where. We have lots of pilots and FAs who commute from MIA to JFK, but will now probably be based in MIA, so that should reduce the number of people fighting for a jumpseat! Also like meeko said, you could easily wind up in NY as a newhire or definitely after spending some time in MIA.

You never know what will happen on Day 1 of class until the instructor starts writing the bases/equip available on the whiteboard in front of the class. Its a pretty exciting moment

Sorry if someone has already asked this question but is Eagle now sending both CRJ and ERJ trainees home during their second week for CBT? A friend of mine went through training a few months ago on the ERJ and stayed the whole time but the CRJ guys went home during their second week. I was also wondering if you kept the hotel room during the week you would do CBT at home or just pack for a week so you can bring all your stuff back with you? Thanks in advance!

Yup...ERJ have now CBT too. You'll stay in the same room, no checking out. Just don't leave the hotel room key in your home.

500? Jum I'm thinking more like 350 by may. But 500 looks better...lol!!! Meaning that probably by August or September I would be holding a line.

550 by May was the number given to me straight from a recruiter.
