Second, to me it's worth the money, especially if you commute. It eliminates the need to pack sweaters, long overcoat, etc. Just remove all the goodies and you have a something to wear out on the overnights.
Third, get one with the removable liner.

Try Pops leather, they offer the jacket in goat or sheep skin. You do not have to get the embroidery of an Eagle aircraft if you do not want to. Pops lets you customize your jacket a little more than Peri... whatever their name is.

The bad thing about the leather jacket is the wait is appx 12 weeks to get them. I ordered mine and wont get it til mid january.... At least ill get a couple weeks use out of it ... I also like the fact that I dont have to pack another jacket/sweatshirt/whatnot for overnights. It seems like a pretty nice jacket, but ive noticed most people either love it or hate it...

I love the leather jacket. Plus I also have a commando sweater for an added layer during bitter cold days. I get compliments all the time.
But I have been told that the Perrone leather jacket is not the only approved one to wear. As somebody mentioned, the ones from Pops can be purchased as well as a $100 one from Amazon. Both are identical to the Perrone one with the exception of some strap in the back.
Also, the current wait time for the Perrone is 8-10 weeks from time of purchase. If you have any intention of wearing it this winter I would purchase it today. Or go for the Pops or Amazon one which has a turn around time of only a few days.

Perrone is up to 12 weeks. They just called me a couple days ago to let met know they are giving their manufacturer holiday vacation (the nerve of these people!!!) which is pushing production back. Either way you better get on it soon!!!
