I had class last year during the holidays. You will have class on Thanksgiving Day. For Christmas, they will send you out with a relatively high priority (A3) which beats the other standbys. Going back after Christmas, you will be A1 so you will kick off a paying passenger if it's oversold. I'm just guessing but you will probably travel home on the 23rd and back to DFW on the 26th. For New Years, it will be the same situation. I never had any issues traveling to or from and never had to do the jumpseat.

Quick question with hiring ... is Eagle bringing folks on with 50 ME TT at all? Also, for those who have had class lately: what were the average times for those in your class?

Thanks for your time, enjoy the evening.

Thanks for the info. I knew I would get some good off this forum one day.

So after you have recieved the call back from the review board and a date set up a for the physical, how probable is it to be put in the next class date? Are classes full where you have to wait a couple of weeks for the following date?

I haven't been to class lately but I can't tell you that some of the guys that are hitting the line now are still around 1,000 hrs. But don't be concerned with your times if they give you a call to interview. That won't be a factor once they call you. I had the lowest times when I interviewed (OCT 10), everyone had over 1,000 hrs Turbine time over me (1200/125). 900 of my hrs were as a CFI with around 75 as an MEI and 0 turbine time. 8 entered the room, 3 got the conditional offer and I was the only one that eventually made it to training. I know of at least 1 of the guys didn't make it past the review board, and he had over 4,000 hrs with PIC types on GA aircraft. If you have 500/50 apply and study your a$$ off. We jut had a vacancy bid posting like 200 vacancies for FO and 50 CA upgrades.

Its my understanding that classes are NOT full. The last class had 47 and I was told by one of the instructors at the training center they want more people in the classes then what they are getting.
Unless they have finalized the next class, you have a good chance of getting into it.

Well, finally got the "your app is scheduled for review in 2 days".
Applied on 8/26, updated 3 days ago.
Only 51 ME/835 total.
Who knows what this e-mail means, they may just say go get some more multi time for example after reviewing my application.

Take this email serious. expect to hear from them in a few days. this is their warning to you that now is your last chance to make sure your application is complete, ACCURATE, and all skeletons have been revealed! Because when you show up to the interview, as desperate as it seems eagle might be...they will send you home for errors made on the application or paperwork, or things that you did not reveal that you should have.
