Just so everyone reading this is clear, any FO on reserve at LAX with a 2000 hire date is doing it for his or her own personal reasons. As for the 1988 FO, he owns a rather successful construction contracting business and has no need or desire for an upgrade.

DK about reserve, but they are playing catch up on growing that base so right now 6 monthsish for transfer, but once they catchup it could drop fast.

The people awarded MIA on the June bid award have a Nov 1st transfer start date. Those awarded it on the July bid have a Dec 1 start date. There were 40 openings on the last bid and not nearly that many takers so you will get awarded it right away but you will probably have to do 2 or so months reserve at your initial base. You'll just need to wait for the next vacancy bid to come out v
