I don't forsee that as a realistic option. The ord airplanes already fly through Mia. That theory was tried with trans states and now it's back to eagle so I do not see there being a cost advantage for American enough to justify the operational disruptions of bringing in a separate airline.

if eagle doesn't have the airframes what option do they have?

I've heard they overnight and run up to 14 planes in MIA? Don't know the truth to this, but if it's been this way for a while, I guess they've been making it work?

Supposedly the "big announcement" alluded to in an earlier post will be tomorrow. No idea what it is but tomorrow is the day.
