Someone hasn't interview yet & people don't like this guy's attitude already......
I'd go to North or south pole, if that's the base avail, if I get to fly for Eagle. I think this is the struggle period & one should go with open mind & learning attitude.
Anyways, Talking abt SJU, Can U pls shed more light abt SJU, like does one have to move there or how easy will it be commutable from MCO & one can just get a crashpad. I know islands are ususally expensive, is SJU expensive to live........

That short sentence makes sense to me. The commute is important to me. Not the distance, but how easy it is to commute. I live on the west coast so a SJU commute would be a deal breaker for me because it would likely be a three leg commute. I wouldn't even apply to Eagle if that was my only option unless I think I could transfer quickly.
When I hired on I knew I was getting ORD or DFW which are both good commutes anywhere in CONUS. I commute to several places on occasion but primarily the west coast. ORD is a great commute.
From what I hear Jet Blue has taken over some AMR flying out of SJU. Also, the ERJ has new routes to the Dominican Republic and has picked up island flying out of MIA. I'm not sure about the CRJ. The SJU base is getting smaller and some rumor at Eagle has speculation as to how long it will remain as a base. But it's rumor so who knows....

I did all the airline apps but I heard back pretty quickly after emailing that address. I just put a nice sentence saying thank you for taking the time to look over my attached resume, etc etc.

Commuting is a choice. Best advice I got when I was an FNG.
