I have a question for those of you who have interviewed or been hired recently at AE.
I understand that AE is very strict on paperwork and logbooks, so in the future, if I interview, I DO NOT want this to be a problem for me.
Currently, my app on Airlineapps matches my logbook within 1-2 hours.
Does this need to be exact or am I okay?
How close were your hours to matching on your app and logbook?
For instance: My logbook TT = 1279.8
Airlineapps TT = 1281
Is this acceptable because of the way Airlineapps rounds to the nearest whole number?
Also, if I round my logbook to the nearest whole number:
ASEL matches +/- 1
AMEL matches
PIC matches
Instructor matches
DUAL matches
I suspect that the only numbers that do not match are my ASEL and TT because I have 4 different SEL aircraft listed and all the hours get rounded.
Am I pulling my hair out over nothing? Because this is the best I have been able to do with this stupid website.
Please advise.
Thanks.

I would be more worried about finding a place to eat then the interview thinking back on it.

The thing about AMR is that no one really knows what will happen until it happens. In my opinion that might be because the people who make those decisions don't know what they're going to do until the last minute in many cases.
Business is too fluid to have a lot of long term planning and this industry is too volatile for stability. That's just a generality and my opinion.
That also means things can swing towards favoring pilots suddenly too. Just like all the flowthroughs and sudden upgrades.

Looks like the pilots waiting for IOE are waiting about two weeks now.
I have an IOE captain on my line this month. This is the second week in a row I was displaced for IOE. No reassignment. Just hang at home and get paid....

Should be interesting to see how many bite at that chance to be pegged on the bottom. My guess is Eagle will be scrambling for those last 300 applicants. The only positive is, by the time they hire these 300 they may need another 300. It wouldn't surprise me to see 500/50 soon. The people I've talk to are all getting offers when they interview at various airlines. This tells me the regionals are getting desperate now.

At this point, they probably won't reassign me. They had until 24 hours prior to my original departure to reassign me.
