Edit: I went to a job fair and talked with the hiring folks. That's how I got the interview.

Did you get hired be us since we've been hiring within the past year?

Nope. Not for me. I was asked questions on my last aircraft flown (part 135).

Well thats kind of my question, I just worded it poorly. I flew 121 but my last aircraft flown since then was a 172. Im curious as to which systems to study? Obviously im hoping for a 172 since its almost been 2 years since the CRJ.

My interview is coming up really soon, I dont wanna jump the gun here but pending everything goes smoothly I wanted to get some opinions from people currently flying for Eagle about bases and commuting. Im orginally from south florida and would like to get back down their. I really dont care what airframe I end up with but the crj would be nice! How difficult would it be to get CRJ/ORD and commute out of MIA, if even possible? Or CRJ anywere and commuting out of MIA for that matter.

If I were you, I would pick ATR MIA, you'll be at home, same pay that the CRJ and you don't have to comute.

When you get 1 year, then bid the CRJ and get a new life living in ORD.

Just my 2 cents...

MIA to ORD is not a bad commute AA have like 4 flights a day...

I have been using the ones on willflyforfood, apc, and few others. I also read allmost the entire book "Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot" which was an excellent source of information, ive also been trying to get as familiar as possible with Jepps since ive never used them before.

Two questions:

1. Anyone with a crashpad/apt. in Isla Verde in Puerto Rico?

2. How come my Bose headset don't work in the ATR ?

Hey Man you need to buy a stereo to mono adapter plug for your Bose, it's 2 dollars at Radio Shack and so far it has worked for me on every ATR I have flown in Dallas, Miami and San Juan. The dave clarks have a wide channel that wears out the receptacle. The channel on the adapter doesn't look any larger than the original on the Bose but it makes a difference and it works
