1k is 7 days of OT on first yr pay. Every time I'm at work, I'm thankful I don't have to use those ****ty and dirty DCs. I've used my expensive headsets for six years now, just had the factory refurbish it under warranty. I know I can get 10 more years out of them if I wanted to. 1k for over 15 years of comfort is an easy decision for me. Heck if mine broke tomorrow, I would be perfectly content and go start shopping for another one.

But I guess if you're strapped for cash, put $2 a day in a jar and when you finish your probie ride treat yourself to a decent set. Your ears will thank you.

Most pilots already own a headset. Most also value their hearing and their health. I've seen guys with puss filled skin lesions and herpes on their face wear the company sets. The alcohol wipes won't kill everything. Also, your headset will fit very nicely inside your kit bag if you only carry the manuals you are required to carry. Only carry the manuals you are required to carry. If you hurt your back and claim injury on duty, the first thing the company will do is look at your kit bag. If you have every manual they will say you are SOL.

I don' think so. I half the guys I fly with are months out of date on their manuals. I would rater carry a little extra weight and have the stuff I need when I need it.

That's fine but when you hurt your back don't complain.

Default Ttot help!

I need help with TTOT!

So I traded what I wanted (almost entire schedule)..2 days for 2 days..everything went through, as i didn't move an DFPs.

The trips I traded, cumulatively should add about 6-7 hours of credit time.. But on top of my HI2..it only went from 75.36-77ish

what's up with this?

Will it fix itself after the window closes tomorrow at noon?

I'm listed as the FO on all of the trips in DECS..and all of my old trips are in the open time pool.

Did i do something wrong / NOT do something?

please help!

Thanks!
