Still? I know guys that got a call with 5 tickets and arrests...lol. I also know quite a few guys that got arrested on the job and didn't get fired. Yeh, you know what I'm talking about.

Im glad we are still being selective.
Still? I know guys that got a call with 5 tickets and arrests...lol. I also know quite a few guys that got arrested on the job and didn't get fired. Yeh, you know what I'm talking about.

Well, for the student rate they probably don't even look at that, since they don't have the way to do it.

I had one speeding ticket, and one letter of correction, got hired and I'm waiting for IOE now.

Probably some information was wrong in your application, ie: your medical date.

One of my best friend didn't get the interview before me because his medical for some reason said is was from 1990... (I'm finishing training and he got his interview this week, 4 months later of the mistake)

Could it be my first class medical only has expired to the third class privileges? I would be kicking myself if that was the reason...

Do you work in HR? That isnt sarcasm, I am just curious I am starting to think you might be down there for this hiring spring.

Wow, I am kicking myself. I reread the airline apps 'compare app' page. All it puts is a check in the box next to required. I technically do have a first class medical. It is just I have had it since Oct '09.

I guess I should have scrolled down and seen the words, "current first class medical." Surprised that would shoot me down for an interview, but that has got to be it. Guess it is too late now...

Nope...just a regular line guy. I just know if you wanna get some where, you gotta have your sh!t squared away. If I were, I would be looking to see if an applicant has crossed every eye and dotted every tee. I've been in aviation nearly 20 years and in my previous aviation career, you had to be squared away. Paying attention to detail was a must or folks got hurt or killed. I carry that with me and always will
