RAH buys up 80 C-Series

SWA is already going after RAH in MKE and DEN. Airtran is going after them in MKE. DAL is doing more flying out of MKE now also. Its only a matter of time imho.

Exactly!! However i have little faith it will ever happen with RAH. Its more likely that the majors will eventually cut the ties and stop supplementing them. Unfortunately 2 good airlines are going to go down in flames as a part of this RAH experiment. The other airlines SWA, Airtran, Jetblue, Delta, UAL and USAIR arent going to play nice with RAH moving forward.

I wish I could agree with you super, but DAL sends RAH big fat checks and I think they want them to fly the new c-series so we can't. I think DAL is not on our side on this one.

I know we're playing them now but i dont think we're doing it willingly anymore. RAH has covered their bases with this charade of certificates. I really dont think the carriers that RAH is flying for today wont have their contracts renewed in the future. Its a real shame that we're supplementing a competitor right now.

If the contracts are not renewed or the code share game doesn't work, I see some tough roads ahead for RAH. We just don't have the economy of scale to compete with SWA or the name recognition of AirTran. AirTran is killing it in MKE and looking good doing it. Meanwhile, the F9/YX side of the terminal looks like a bunch of animals floating on a sea of chocolate chip cookies. In all likelyhood, if BB can't hold on to the fee-for-departure stuff long enough to supplement the branded stuff, this place is doomed.
So...long story short...I figure it's a 50/50 shot that you guys have to find someone new to complain about before the 1st C hits the ramp.

I care about your pay rate. It cost me my job after 20 years. My God when are you people going to wake up to what you have done and continue to do? You are like a bunch of illegal immigrants scarfing up the good paying jobs and lowering them to the level where no one can expect to make a living except those of you who think you have it made.

Not really, the MEC/NC failed you. I know, we can cover the revisionist history and the how/why of it all. But the point remains the same.
Sadly, one of them already went down.

This is crazy frontier 5th year FO's made 82/hr and RAH is paying 37/hr for a bigger A/C. What the heck are you guys thinking. If you RAH guys don't get some respectable pay you will be continuing the downfall of our industry. The frontier numbers should be the starting point. I highly doubt you will, seems like most of you guys are happy as can be.

I give it a 50/50 shot at RAH contracts getting renewed. The funny thing is, I think we have a better shot at renewing the ones with airlines we are directly competing against (UAL/DAL) then the ones we're not (CAL/AA). BB see's growth at UAL/DAL/US because either their scope clauses are junk or they may seem willing to play the code share game. CAL/AA - not so much. He'll basically whisper in their ear like a high-priced call girl and if they really believe he loves them, well...I can't be held accountable for their ineptitude.

As far as renewing the contract with Delta, Richard Anderson has already publicly stated they have zero intentions of renewing the contracts with RAH. RAH wants to compete and thats what DAL sees RAH as now, a competitor.
wipe your chin, the drool is starting to drip
