I'd agree. Though accelerate stop is based on max braking. Which means on 4 tires, not 2 tires and 2 rims.

So I don't think you can really draw accurate parallels to the PSA accident.

with the amount of snow that has come down in the area the last few days i cant imagine breaking action was perfect either. good job to the crew for getting it stopped in time.

Really, is it possible that the fuse plugs melted and caused the flat tires. Let the details come out before listening to the media. The 145 has great stopping power but I have melted the plugs from an abort before.

Just recieved an email from the company regarding the first CRW emas incident. The news article says that the crew tried to change the flap position while almost at Vr?????!!!!!!! Maybe im late on this info...but come on guys...no wonder everyone is coming down on us regional guys.

I know I am not immune to mistakes but man...you got to wonder....
