Default Changes to Pinnacle Pass Policy for Parents

Look like a step in a right direction (well, depening on the destination
Parents of Pinnacle employees will now will fly @ the ID-95 rate instead of the ZED Highs.
Thanks for improving this benefit for our parents!
Now if the employees can have more than 3 Int'l Travel Days.
Anyone heard anything about the possibility of more Int'l Travel Days??? (after all, other airline pilots can get a seat on DL metal overseas all they want)

Didn't you guys also at the same time just lose agreements with like 20 carriers? A buddy of mine was just complaining to me that he is having to redo his entire summer travel plans because of it.

I also understand it that parents can no longer Zed on ANY other carrier (previously could on dozens upon dozens)... now its just ID-95 on Delta?

Great improvement....

Not sure where you got that info but it's not correct. Parents still can interline on other carriers. AFAIK, no interline agreements have changed for parents and there are 'dozens and dozens' of carriers on which they are eligible.
When the integrated pass policy was announced, DL left alone all of our interline agreements with the other carriers. I have not heard anything about losing the interline agreements for parents on other carriers.
Additionally, parents are supposed to have the capability to purchase interline tickets at all DL ticket counters within the next few weeks. Hope this clears it up..

Pretty much about sums it up.

I like the memo about unplanned absences. "Mental Health days" and "sickations". Maybe certain people would pull their head outta the sand they might think about this.
When someone needs a day off in the future, does the company work with them? Nope. Everyone I know has given up trying to work with the company. It's pointless. If you need the day off you just call in sick. Simple as that. Its sad but true.

So, in the unfortunate event right before a trip a loved one dies, someone close to me commits suicide, I have a car wreck, or I catch my wife cheating on me before leaving for a trip....sorry guys--I'm in the cockpit shooting that Cat II down to mins...wonder if he would want to jumpseat on a night Cat II with me if I caught my wife cheating on me less than 10 hours prior to departure...

The MEC, like the company, seems to be using the time method. Overtime hopefully we will forget all the shortcomings. Things are not improving....hotels, pass travel, extensions/junior mans, contract, oh and my favorite, communication. While the union has been better it's still vague...

Why can't we get the automatic drop /swap? Even IF the pilots offered to pay for it, why doesn't the union push for it? Qualtiy of life would improve. I have yet to be able to drop anything here---I love the standard response...unable due to staffing. Simply the best...................

I'm fairly certain the pilot group will continue to use their sick time however they want since everything is denied.

Since we probably won't see another ta for 2 years why don't we dig in and use what we have and fix the little stuff like the hotels and pass travel?
